1. Our Commitment
Heritage.glass is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including conservation specialists, architects, joiners, and homeowners of all abilities. We strive to meet and exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
2. Accessible Technical Design
- Keyboard Navigation: All configurator controls, modal dialogs, and navigation menus are fully operable using keyboard alone (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Escape, Arrow keys).
- Skip Links: A visible skip link allows screen reader and keyboard users to bypass header navigation and jump directly to
#main-content. - Accessible 3D Fallbacks: Where WebGL is unavailable, reduced motion is requested, or low-power mode is enabled, our interactive 3D viewers provide static, accessible SVG architectural diagrams with complete text labels.
- Colour Contrast: Deep forest greens (
#14251F) and ink text (#141817) provide strong contrast ratios exceeding 4.5:1 against limestone and porcelain backgrounds.
